Terms and conditions for joining the Amazon Easy Ship programme 

Before you can benefit from the convenience of this service, you must meet a few specific requirements set out by Amazon. First and foremost, your account must work within a professional selling plan - sellers with an individual plan cannot access this solution. The location of your business is also key; the Amazon Easy Ship service is only available for shipments sent from facilities located within the UK. Additionally, you need to ensure that your products are eligible for the programme. Excluded from the service are goods registered under the FBA model and so-called excluded products, which include, among others, hazardous materials or items whose transport by road is restricted by law. 

Another important aspect is the technical preparation of the consignment. The seller is considered the official shipper and is responsible for ensuring that the goods are properly packaged to protect them from damage during transit. Each parcel must be properly sealed and bear a shipping label generated directly from the Seller Central panel. Amazon also requires that the shipping address is always up to date, as in the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt or order cancellation by the customer, the courier will return the package to this address. If the address is incorrect, the package may be considered abandoned and disposed of at the seller's expense. 

Financial costs and benefits of the service 

One of the strongest arguments for Amazon Easy Ship is its transparent and very attractive pricing. Amazon has negotiated rates that for many medium and small businesses are unattainable with standalone contracts with courier companies. On the Polish market, the rate for a parcel up to 30 kg delivered to the customer's door is only PLN 3.49 net. The same amount will be paid for a parcel to a parcel machine (parcel up to 25 kg). The system also allows for simple international expansion, offering shipments from Poland to Germany, France, Italy or Spain based on a rigid price list depending on the weight of the product. 

Please note, however, that charges are based on the weight and dimensions set by the carrier upon receipt of the parcel. Although you can provide your own details when scheduling a shipment, the final amount will be charged to your account after verification by the courier. If you systematically underreport your dimensions, Amazon may suspend your access to the service. Importantly, Amazon Easy Ship also includes protection in the event that your parcel is lost or damaged through the fault of the carrier - in such situations, the seller can expect to be reimbursed according to the programme's policy.
