Is it possible to generate A+ content on Amazon through AI? Guide

It has been some time since Amazon introduced the possibility of A+ content being generated by AI. Many, including ourselves, were sceptical and distanced from it. Ultimately, however, we gave Amazon a chance and, against all appearances, it is a useful feature.

Generating A+ content is fairly straightforward, but it needs to be done skilfully if we don't want to waste time to something unfavourable to the human eye. It is important to bear in mind that AI in particular does not understand the content of the photo in the same way as a human. For this reason, Amazon's AI does a poor job of generating background graphics - leave this area to professional graphic designers.

What graphics did we test?

• generating our product in use (AI has done the job incorrectly)
• text generation (AI does not generate text in pictures)
• any generation of our product (AI has done the job incorrectly)
• understanding of space, distance, shapes (wrong)
• generating a universal background (AI has done the job correctly)

When it comes to text, on the other hand, this is quite the opposite. Probably one of the most onerous tasks in creating A+ content is creation of texts, which to a large extent most generate anyway in other, external AI or translate live from a translator. Is it not then more convenient to use Amazon's internal AI, which has all product information at your fingertips?

All right, but how does it work in practice? Does the AI actually generate the texts correctly?

The texts are correct and catchy and coincide with the product description on Amazon. Not only that, the AI itself lists the key characteristics, which are worth drawing the customer's attention to (they can be manually selected).

The text is compliant with platform rules, nor have we ever seen it written in a string; AI itself uses line breaks to the customer does not feel overwhelmed, if, for example, he were reading a wall of text.

Summary

Downsides of generating A+ content by AI:

• graphics are not adequate for the prompts given
• graphics are not suitable for publication
• (exception: universal background not containing your product)

Pros of generating A+ content through AI:

• the texts are well structured
• the texts are concise
• the texts are relevant to the product described
• no need for external tools (all done on Amazon)
